I love playing with my food. And for over 20 years, l've been doing it for a living, combining my passion for design and food.
As well as a food stylist for film, television, and print, I've worked in many areas of the culinary arts and co-authored/styled several cookbooks, including the New Granville Island Market Cookbook. I was the creative coordinator for The Urban Peasant cooking show, which aired nationwide daily on CBC for over 500 episodes. In recent years, I have also taught food and props styling for food photography and film.

As an on-set Food Stylist and Chef working in Vancouver’s film and television industry, I bring a strong balance of creativity, organization, and reliability to every production. I specialize in preparing and styling camera-ready food that not only looks visually compelling on screen but also maintains consistency throughout long shooting days and multiple takes. I understand the fast-paced demands of production environments and work closely with the directors & prop teams to ensure food presentation supports the overall visual storytelling of each project and scene.

Michelle is a classically trained chef and creative food stylist with a passion for transforming food into impactful camera-ready food with efficiency and precision. She takes pride in creating food that translates beautifully on camera, whether for feature films, television series, commercials, or branded content.
We are food stylists, food consultants, and culinary designers; part artists, part magicians and mad scientists. We create top-quality and screen-ready food props for print and film.
